Try out watercolor painting in a friendly atmosphere with a glass of wine in hand. We'll be painting a beach sunset. Part of the Salem Paint 'n Sip collection...

Come explore your creative side and enjoy some wine while you paint! You'll be painting a lake landscape scene with your partner. No experience necessary, artists of all levels are welcomed and encouraged. Most paint & sip events feature acrylic painting - if you've attended one in the past, at this event you'll learn a new process and technique painting with artist-grade watercolor paints. The painting will be completed on 8x10 watercolor paper, and you'll be able to take it home with a matte and protective sleeve.

*Everything you need for the event is included in the price. Your ticket lets you choose a complimentary glass of 2019 Estate Pinot noir or any Cória white wine available for purchase. Leah’s 2018 debut EP Extra Guacamole was written and recorded while living in Munich, Germany and she is currently in the process of creating her first full-length album.

The Gail Gage duo consists of Gail Gage and Carolyn Gage. Gail is an attorney by trade and musician by birth, Gail Gage comes from multi-generational family of musicians. Born in Rainier Oregon and raised in Salem, she has been singing for audiences since childhood. Gail, who also plays guitar, was challenged to master the stand-up bass.

Carolyn joined her first non-family band at the age of 16. She is a graduate of Sprague High School, holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Western Oregon University and a masters degree in public policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. In addition to her day job in the Oregon Youth Authority’s central office, Carolyn sings and plays keyboard for Gail Gage Jazz and is first chair bassist for the Salem Pops Orchestra. She is the daughter of Gail Gage and Kevin Gage.

Leo Moon is the solo incarnation of actor, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Adrian Koch. California born and Oregon raised, Brian has been active in the Portland music scene since arriving in 2000. He is a current and founding member of indie rock band Blitzen Trapper and psychedelic folk duo Dead Lee. Appearing now as a solo acoustic performer, his minimal and haunting tunes are stripped down paeans to the glorious absurdities of life; harmonica spattered psalms to the void.
